Nominate as a Grant Assessor

Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at midnight 31 March 2024 (AEDT).

We invite you to nominate to become a grant assessor.  Nominations are open all year, with appointments considered at the Board's quarterly meetings (February, May, August and November).

Assessors independently consider, score and provide advice on Content and/or Development & Operational grant applications in accordance with the grant assessment process.

People with the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Women
  • People with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • People with a disability
  • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex people
  • Young people
  • People from non-metropolitan areas

Nominations will be provided to members of the Nominations Advisory Group (made up of represetnatives of national Sector Representative Organisations) who provide independent advice to the CBF Board in relation to the nominations.  All appointments are made by the CBF Board.
