Funds are available to support in-language programming at Indigenous stations. The grants assist with the maintenance and development of Indigenous community broadcasting throughout Australia.
Consideration of Indigenous Grants is the responsibility of the Indigenous Grants Advisory Committee (IGAC). In 2016/17 approximately $60,000 is available for Indigenous Language Program grants. Grants will be announced after August 31 2016.
We strongly encourage you to discuss your project with the relevant CBF Grants Administrator before submitting your application. They can provide advice on the types of projects funded in this category and what information you should include in your application.
